Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering

 The occasion was the inauguration of the "Socify" club, organized by the computer department students which took place on 17th February in Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering. 

The brief program was held between 12:00 and 1:00 in the presence of the Vice-principal sir-Dr. Subhash Shinde, HOD ma’am- Prof. Sonal Bankar, Faculty in charge- Prof. Rajendra Gawali, faculty, employees, and LTCoE students. 

The inaugural ceremony began with a hearty welcome from the assembled crowd. The exordium of the Socify club was successfully carried out by severing the ribbon and lighting the lamp by the Vice-principal, HOD ma’am, and the faculty in charge. 

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”- this well-known phrase was the opening statement while introducing the club’s motives and agenda. The club is established to provide a forum for all parties involved to interact, exchange information, and find others who share their interests. 

The club's goals include socializing and establishing bonds among students and between students and teachers through participation in various social activities and the opportunity for personal growth, idea sharing, and skill demonstration. 

Furthermore, the students who worked on designing and painting the wall representing the club were appreciated for their hard work. After that, a small fun activity -a riddle was carried out wherein the students and teachers actively participated. Lastly, the Vice-principal sir imparted their wisdom with a short speech.
