On May 13th, 2023, I had the pleasure of attending the Global Azure Bootcamp 2023 at the Microsoft office in Mumbai. The event was buzzing with excitement, with two events taking place simultaneously, organized by different groups. I decided to attend the event organized by Dear Azure, led by Kasam Sir, while my friend Samyakta went to the event organized by Augustine Sir, which was more practical in nature.

 As soon as we entered the Microsoft office, we were provided with coffee and a badge. The Dear Azure event was a house-full event, with many students and professionals in attendance. Kasam Sir kicked off the event with an introduction, followed by three sessions, one after the other. 

 The first session, on Azure governance, was led by Krunal Trivedi, a Microsoft MVP Azure. Azure governance refers to the set of processes and policies that organizations use to manage their Azure resources effectively. Krunal explained the best practices for Azure governance and discussed various tools and services that can help in achieving governance at scale. He also talked about Azure Policy, a service that enables organizations to create and enforce policies across their Azure resources.

 The second session, on building a search engine using Elastic on Azure, was led by Ashish Tiwari, Senior Developer Advocate of Elastic. Elastic is a search engine technology that provides real-time search and analytics capabilities. Ashish explained how to build a search engine using Elastic on Azure, covering topics such as data ingestion, indexing, and querying. He also demonstrated how to use Kibana, a data visualization, and dashboarding tool, to analyze and visualize search data.

 The third session, on AI in Azure, was led by Abdul Rasheed Khan, Founder & CEO of Codesizzler, and a Microsoft MVP-Azure. Abdul covered the various AI services available on Azure, such as Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure Databricks. He discussed the use cases of these services.

 Overall, the sessions provided a deep dive into various Azure technologies and services, offering attendees valuable insights into the latest developments in the Azure ecosystem. The speakers were highly knowledgeable and engaging, making the sessions both informative and enjoyable. 

After the sessions, the swag distribution started. The speakers asked questions, and the first and right answers were rewarded with swag items. Additionally, all the girls in attendance were given swag items, and those who tweeted on Nilesh Shinde Sir's Twitter handle also won swag items. Finally, those attending the event for the first time also received swag items, and I was lucky enough to win a T-shirt!

 The swag items were plentiful and included bottles, T-shirts, and stickers, among other things. We were then provided with a delicious pizza lunch, and the event came to a close.

 I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Kasam Sir, Nilesh Shinde Sir, and the entire team of Dear Azure and Microsoft for organizing such a wonderful event. The Global Azure Bootcamp 2023 was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry experts, network with like-minded professionals, and gain insights into the latest Azure technologies and services. 

I look forward to attending many more events organized by the Dear Azure team and other industry leaders. Once again, thank you to everyone involved in making the Global Azure Bootcamp 2023 a grand success!
